Sonja was picked up as a stray by dog control. Her first day out of the slammer started with a trip to the vet where we then were referred to a specialist. Sonja will need to have an eye removed due to glaucoma caused by trauma of some type. It will be a first for both of us to experience. Thank you so much to Dr. Rosenlicht and Dr. Nguyen for their services.
This girl is a classic Border Collie right out of the film "Babe". Sonja is beautiful and took her stress filled day in stride. She has a lovely temperament, a little nervous yet, but she met the pack her with ease. In a few days she will know the routine and she will relax. She will need spay surgery as well, looks like she may have had at least one litter of pups. You never know I could have had one of her babes.....
