What a wonderful weekend, sunny and warm. It couldn't have been more welcomed by two Border Collie mixes sprang from dog control on Thursday. After a short drive to Shedd they spent the whole day running in grass that needs mowing. They didn't seem to mind.
Now for introductions. Sally above, is petite happy and energetic she looks to have some Border Collie traits. Mostly just another little black dog needing a second chance. She fit right in and is a great guest. She will have her spay surgery soon.
Below meet Hefner, short for Hugh Hefner, since he's been well umm? Well, let's say playing hump the puppy with every dog in the yard that will let him. He's about 6 months old needing a trip to vet for neutering, poor boy. He's a real lover. Closes his eyes in comfort when you pet his head and melts into your arms like butter. The name just fit. Hef is a mix, seeing him is person makes it is a lot easier to guess his mix. Want to take a guess? No, I don't think it is pit bull. I'm not going to tell yet. We will get more pictures soon, that may help you.
