How to beat the summer heat

Through the kindness of a local farmer we have access to this lovely river. It is really peaceful and quiet. If you look closely you can count all eight dogs.

The water is clear and clean about knee deep with some deeper spots.

Erin is definitely a water loving dog. She is constantly in the wading pool or the sprinkler at home. Then runs inside to shake all over us!



Next time we go we need take the lawn chairs. Maybe a cooler of cold beverage too.



I drove with five dogs in front of the pickup with me. It's a crowded short drive. Louis rode in the back holding the other three. We will all sleep well tonight!
