Look at this BIG puppy!

Libby is three weeks old!
Time flies when you are lovin' a puppy. Liberty will be 3 weeks old July 24th. She up on all four paws but still wobbly. Having the food bar all to herself she's become a chubby little girl, looks like a cute little round guinea pig.
Today she whined for the first time, I'm sorry for her that she doesn't have litter mates to wrestle with. Nothing like pretend puppy fights for entertainment.
Be patient Border Collie lovers, posts about BCs will return soon.

Fiona & Libby Fan Club Update
Libby is now a ONE POUND PUPPY! Sleeping her back with her big pink tummy showing and she falls asleep on my neck after trying to suckle my chin. Her eyes haven't opened yet, but she creeps out of her bed to wander. Puppies must be heaven on earth.
Fiona's becoming playful and more comfortable each day. She loves raw chicken necks as her favorite meal as I have struggled to find food she will eat. She is an excellent mother starting to leave Libby longer periods of time.
Thank you to the fans of Liberty and Fiona. It is great fun sharing these two little wonderful dogs with the world on the web. They may not be border collies but they hold just as big a part of my heart as BCs do.

Fiona Part 3 LIBERTY
Labor signs began about 7a Fiona was restless and showing nesting behavior. About 4p contractions started. But stopped a couple hours later. So off to the vet we went for injections to restart her contractions. Poor Fiona was so uneasy at the vet office they brought her back to me in the exam room. I sat with warm towels on the floor, she wanted to stand to push. She was so tired I lay her across my thigh and held her back end so she could push. After three strong contractions and a loud yelp of pain the pup's head emerged. One more push brought Libby in to the world.
Then to see she looked just like a border collie, imagine my surprise.
Fiona is doing well, she's a good mom. Fiercely protective of her pup towards the other dogs. My room has become the nursery. While it confuses the other dogs it calms her.
