Hello, this is Lilli, our half Boarder Collie and half American Eskimo. She is a wonderful girl and we feel bad because lately we can't give her the attention that she needs. As you know, this is not fair to her and she is starting to be pretty mischievous because of a lack of attention and exercise.
Our single mother daughter just moved up here 3 months ago which is taking up A LOT of our time. The thing is, our daughter has 3 young children that we babysit a lot for, so she can work.
We live in Florence, OR and are wondering if you have any suggestions. Lille is 7 months old now, just got Spayed two weeks ago, has all her shots and is very sweet. Lilli knows how to fetch, shake, lay down and stay. Lilli also waits when she is fed for me or my wife to give her the okay to eat. Lilli is also crate trained and is good on a leash, running free on the beach and comes when called. Sometime she is a little hard to get back on a leash, but even in those situations, it only takes a minute with a treat. Lilli is also very socialized, we take her to the dog park where she has a lot of fun fetching and playing with other dogs.
The bad things that she is starting to do now are barking, not listening as much, digging holes, jumping on the kids and her nipping gets a little old. All these new behaviors are understandable now with the lack of attention she is getting.
