Libby the flower girl

I know they aren't really flowers, but dandelions are fun to play in too. The lazy days of summer apparently haven't included mowing the weedy lawn at our house.

Libby is now eight weeks old. She spends lots of time outside running, digging, and chasing the big dogs. I usually wake with her on my pillow next to my ear sleeping. I should get tough and crate train her, but love having her close....

Libby becomes more precious by the moment. At seven weeks old she now wrestles with the big dogs, barks a little, and goes outside to do her business. Fiona is weaning her only allowing her to nurse a couple times a day. Libby fears nothing taking on shoes, slippers, toys and balls bigger than she is.

At night when she's tired she comes wanting "up" to rest under my chin or on my shoulder while I watch TV. After our late night potty breaks she shares my pillow sleeping against my ear, her little heart beats so fast. Libby constantly brings smiles and joy to all who see her.

It's truly adorable.

Libby now 5 weeks old

Now all I need to do is stop time so she stays this adorable little prancing pup! Erin, one of our own, is so gentle with Libby. Must have some mommy genes in her back ground ;-)
